January 2019 Update

A move in to 2019 brings with it exciting times for the Neighbourhood Plan. The committee met on Monday 14th January, and following the addition of comments and amendments made on the preview of the plan last September, a completed document text was signed off.

In addition the committee was pleased to be able to view for the first time the plan in its 'designed' format. There is still lots of work to be done to get the plan ready for consultation, but the committee is hopeful that the formal consultation of the Neighbourhood Plan will take place no later than March 2019.

This will be a six week period of consultation, which will include a number of drop in sessions throughout the plan area, giving the community the opportunity to examine in detail and comment on the plan. The Plan will then undergo further amendments before being submitted to Calderdale Council.
